As a physician, hypnotherapist and trainer, I deeply believe that every human being is a unique universe, rich in sensations, experiences and unexplored inner resources. Caring means accepting to encounter this universe in all its difference, with respect and curiosity. Listening then becomes presence, and the therapeutic relationship a living space where the other can reveal himself.
The dialogue between hypnosis and Japan is a natural part of this openness to otherness and dialogue. Two distinct universes that respond to, illuminate and enrich each other. Two paths that invite us to encounter the other – whether patient, culture or inner landscape – to create new resonances, new bridges towards care and understanding of the living.
Nourished by my deep interest in Japan, this site highlights the work of Japanese and French therapists and artists. Together, we explore the resonances between the therapeutic world and practices such as calligraphy, the tea ceremony, Zen meditation, martial arts, and Ma, that subtle interval at the heart of many traditional practices.
Articles, interviews, photos, and videos offer fresh perspectives for therapists and anyone interested in Japanese culture.
